All contributions are based on an expert workshop organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/projects\/digital-disinformation-hub\">Digital Disinformation Hub<\/a> in February 2022 on &#8220;Opportunities in Disinformation Research from a Governance Perspective&#8221;. The two other contributions address the\u00a0empirical evidence and conceptual challenges\u00a0for the governance of disinformation. All three contributions have been published as open access papers in the online journal Internet Policy Review.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/policyreview.info\/articles\/news\/hybrid-institutions-disinformation-governance-between-imaginative-and-imaginary\/1669\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link to the article<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>About the Series<\/h2>\n<p>While bridging the gap between social science findings and policy proposals, the texts address some fundamental questions to foster future research agendas: (i) how should underlying conceptions, most notably notions of \u201ctruth\u201d, support the increasing weight that states and companies dedicate to curbing disinformation?
