All the beloved, award-winning and cherished &#8220;dreams&#8221;, good gods &#8220;of Manhattan&#8221; and ships with such deceptive names as &#8220;Esperanza&#8221; sailing around the inner seas of our imagination &#8211; all these radio plays actually served a perfidious re-education plan. G\u00fcnter Eich, Ingeborg Bachmann, Fred von Hoerschelmann, and all those who submissively offered their talents to the radio stations &#8211; they were agents of a gigantic mass education, of a &#8220;mass aesthetic re-education policy conceived as popular education&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Wagner, H.-U.
